The role of the guest is: 1) after registering for the stay they will receive an e-mail notifying them of this new program, 2) they can sign up for the service via the web before their stay, 3) once they arrive an check in the system will send them a welcome message and they will just need to text back a verification number that they want to use the service during they stay, 4) they can cancel the service at any time by texting the word STOP to a specified number.
*Due to current technology constraints of some users phones they may not be able to take advantage of all the functionality of the VIP system. For example, users will need a web enabled phone to go to our mobile website and will need a phone enabled with GPS to use the mapping software. The positive news is that a recent surveyed showed 1 out of every 8 phones being purchased are smartphones with all the relevant technology. Also, most business travelers are using the newer technology. Even if a user does not have the newest phone technology they will still receive all the text message functions, which will significantly enhance their stay.
